Pioneers, investigators: someone is always the first to break the trail. This time it is the trail in the past. This is the second and the third groups and so on will be easier but the first one is sent with imperfect technique to complete unpredictability. It's not just a risk; it's a game of destiny to "heads or tails". And to beat destiny is not easy...

В целях испытания технологий засыла в прошлое используются добровольцы из числа персонала наукограда «Сколково». Первый хрононавт – молодой ученый спортивной внешности (никак не задрот) продержался аккурат до последней минуты. А потом благополучно загнулся – не помогли ни знания флоры и фауны мелового периода, ни закалка пехотинца-срочника. Ученые погоревали, почесали репу и обратились к службе безопасности. Оттуда выделили офицера – увы, он решил погеройствовать и... нет, не погиб, но стал инвалидом. Вот тебе и спецслужбист!..
Научный персонал в шоке, генерал-эфэсбешник (глава СБ) рвет и мечет, но есть еще хитроумный финдиректор. Он предлагает компромисс: послать человека со стороны, подготовленного для разных таких ситуаций. Спецназер? Да будет вам! Не кто иной, как знаменитый путешественник и ученый-этнограф, специалист по экстриму и выживанию в суровых условиях, затмивший славу самого Федора Конюхова, – Руслан Мамбетов по прозвищу Мамба. А мамба, как мы знаем, самая опасная змея на Земле. Укус смертелен.
Да вот беда – Мамбетов попал в плен к злым сомалийским пиратам. И без нехилого выкупа оттуда никак не выйдет.
Чего ж проще: коли сам Папа курирует проект хронопутешествий, так надо вытрясти деньжат с рассейского правительства (или с олигархов, которым еще гулять хочется на свободе) и вызволить нужного чела из плена. Ну, у нас так дела не делаются, у нас все решает российский спецназ – суровый и беспощадный. Да, пиратов покрошили, Мамбу вызволили, но попал он из огня да в полымя. Теперь придется ему отрабатывать свое чудесное избавление от злых пиратов. Будут его посылать в разные древние и темные времена, испытывать технологии засыла в прошлое. И он не подкачает, ведь он спец по выживанию – в любых условиях. Добудет все, что нужно, обкатает технологию и вернется живым и невредимым.
А впереди его и читателей ждут новые приключения в прошлом – в таком, о котором вы даже не подумали.

In order to test technologies of sending people in the past volunteers from the staff of the science city SKOLKOVO are used. First chrononaut is young scientist with sports appearance (not wonk) lasted exactly until the last minute.
And then he died: knowledge of the flora and fauna of the Cretaceous period and experience of infantry conscripts did not help. Scientists have grieved, reflected on and turned to the security service. The service has allocated an officer – alas, he decided to act heroically and... no, he did not perish but became disabled. Here's to you “securityservicemen”!..
Scientific staff is in shock, General of FSB (Chapter of SS) is in a rage but there is a dodgy chief financial executive who found the way out. He offers a compromise: to send a man from the outside, the man who could cope with different situations. Spetsnaz? Nonsense! That will be none other than the famous explorer and scientist-ethnographer, specialist in extreme and survival in harsh conditions, the man who has eclipsed the glory of the Fyodor Konyukhov – Ruslan Mambetov, nicknamed Mamba. And Mamba, as we know, is the most dangerous snake on Earth. Its bite is deadly.
But here's the problem: Mambetov was captured by the evil Somali pirates. And without ransom he will never become free.
What is easier: if the “Papa” himself is overseeing the project of chronotravellings so we need to work the oracle with Russian government (or oligarchs, who still want to be free) and get the desired men from captivity.
Well, we do not do things like this, the Russian spetsnaz, harsh and merciless, solve all our problems. Yes, the pirates were disposed, Mamba was rescued, but he came from the frying pan into the fire. Now he will have to work off a debt of his miraculous deliverance from the evil pirates. Scientists will send him in different ancient and dark times, to experience technology of sending in the past. And he did not disappoint them; in fact he is a specialist of survival in any environment. He will get everything you need, try a new technology and return alive and safe. And ahead the new adventures in the past, so that you never thought, are waiting for readers.
